Gale Sayers died on Sept 23rd, 2020. He was 77 years old and one of the most graceful runners the game ever witnessed. In the movie, "Brian's Song," there is a scene where Gale Sayers finds out Brian's cancer is back and some one has to tell him. It reminded of the day I had to tell Debbie's girls, there mom had died. This is my recollection of that day.
