Join us in our first episode of 2023 as we sit down with Master George Rego, Chief Instructor at the Jukido Jujitsu Academy in Florida. Master Rego holds a 5th Dan in Jukido Jujitsu and a 3rd Dan in Kokondo Karate. Master Rego has competed in many tournaments, and is a 7-time gold medalist in the International Karate Association shiai, and in 2015 he became the AAU National Freestyle Judo Champion in the Master’s Lightweight division.
Off the mats, Master Rego is the author of, "The Founding of Jujutsu & Judo In America", which accounts how the Japanese fighting art made its way to the United States.
