Join us this week on PKCC as we sit down with Sensei Chris Hanson. Sensei Hanson is based out of Toronto, Canada and has studied martial arts for over 40 years. In addition to his 3rd Dan (2014) in Nisei Kempo Karate, Sensei Hanson also holds black belts in several systems and has cross-trained in numerous arts. He teaches private lessons to small groups and also local and international seminars. Outside of martial arts he is a husband, father, former software developer, blogger, podcaster and is currently an elementary school teacher. Chris Hanson started his YouTube channel, Karate Unity in 2018, and since then it has grown to over 2,000 subscribers with his videos having more than 130,000 views.
