Join us as we sit down with Grand Master Alex Atkinson, a 10th dan with over 50 years of experience in arts ranging from Shotokan, Kenpo Karate, Judo, Five-Animal Kung Fu, Kickboxing, and others. Grand Master Atkinson is a multi-time national and international karate champion in both kata and kumite, and hosts a number of additional accolades, including as a Senior Official and Tatami Events Ambassador for WAKO Canada.
Grand Master Atkinson was also inducted into the Canadian Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2017. He founded the Black Belt Institute in 1980 and continues to teach in Toronto, Canada.
