On this episode we sit down with Kyoshi Mike Sywyk and Kyoshi Laura Sywyk, both accomplished Goju Ryu Karate and Kobudo (weaponry) practitioners, and Chief Instructors of the Eastwind Budo Life Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Kyoshi Mike Sywyk is a 7th-degree black belt with 39 years experience in the martial arts, while Kyoshi Laura Sywyk is a 6th-degree black belt with 37 years experience. Kyoshi Laura is one of the highest-ranking women instructors in Canada.
