On this episode, I have a chance to talk with 25 year old Cam Maxson. He started guiding in Illinois and is now with Habitat Flats. He talks about what attributes make a good guide, how to deal with good and bad clients, his tips and tricks that he brings to the table, and ends with some great stories. Even if it’s a double banded bird, while guiding its all about the clients experience. Those clients always get to duke it out for the bands amongst themselves. Guides are just the referee for the straw picking that takes place in the blind! We as guides love watching people enjoy and learn about this sport and that’s every time we take a group out.
