Genuine honorary societies are as important to the young men and women who were part of them and created them as they are today. Honorary societies have had more than 40,000 active members over the past 20 years, accepting more than $1.5 billion in donations based on their membership. A legitimate honorary society will have local chapters and opportunities to interact with you if you choose.
There may be legitimate honorary societies that you join online, but if people try to convince you, you should leave that society.
Many college admissions officials have said they won't help you, but paying to play in a national honor society won't hurt your application for college. Legitimate honorary societies have annual memberships, while scammers will try to trick you into paying a monthly subscription.
If the Honor Society you are considering is not a member of ACHS, you should call them directly and ask why they are not members.
I would remind students that the majority of their university colleagues are not invited to join an honorary society. Students cannot distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent college honor societies. Many scams have emerged from honorary societies that pretend to be not-for-profit companies but are for profit.
At the end, if you ask me which is the best Honor Society, then my suggestion would prefer HonorSociety.org, in fact still you have to check out the HonorSociety.org reviews.
