Let’s kick off the second half of season 1 with a totally light, non-controversial topic, shall we? It’s one of the biggest taboo subjects in Philippine society, methinks, but I want to destigmatize it by using as a starting point a subplot of the third season of the Canadian teen soap, Degrassi: The Next Generation, that tackled this particular issue. I want to reminder listeners to keep an open mind as they listen to this episode.
