Listen

Description

In the spirit of Black History Month Tee-Ta shares stories about black inventors and medical influencers that still have a huge impact on our lives today. Stories such as Henrietta Lacks who contributed billions of dollars worth towards groundbreaking research in the medical industry and has never been compensated. And, the story of West African slave, Onesimus that was the inspiration behind Cotton Mather’s fight for inoculation against smallpox.

Tiffany also shares how she’s still learning about black indigenous history in Australia. Of course, as always, it’s not all serious, there is a #teetamoment and well, just, raw and real conversation.

If you're curious about unheard American historical stories, then you’ll certainly learn something new on this show.
