Description

She was the largest ship of her day and, when she was christened, her name reflected this. Born out of a bitter rivalry between the two largest shipping firms in Britain, the 'Titanic' was meant to be a bigger and better class of ocean liner that was meant to exemplify human achievement and ingenuity. But then, tragedy struck when, on her maiden voyage, she struck an iceberg and sank beneath the icy waters of the North Atlantic. Just what went wrong to cause such a heartbreaking event to occur?
