Charita Jones stopped in England with a touring gospel musical from South Philadelphia and decided to make it her home.
She has worked as an actress, stage manager had a singing career and the whole time was cooking up traditional USA style soul food classics. She opened up Momma Cherri's Soul Food Shack and with an assist from famed chef Gordon Ramsay, the shack became a destination spot in England. Momma Cherri now cooks up for her YouTube channel and I am grateful that she decided to slow for a bit and have this conversation.
