Appreciation for and Approach to Running.

THANK YOU RUNNING

We do every run with our feet, but we also do it in our head ...

Running has provided an overwhelming amount of Joyful Experiences, Exercise, Travel, Meditation, Spirituality, a skill set to share with others, an opportunity to think through life events as they stand at this moment, life’s experience we can share with others, a discipline, personal control, a better understanding of our higher power and his plan for us.

We don’t love running just because we’re “good at it”, perhaps we become “good at it” because we find ourselves loving it.

My Personal Gratitude:

“I'm extremely grateful for the families, coaches, teammates, and experiences along my journey of sport and life. Embracing them as part of my team and learning through my process, I genuinely acknowledge the powerful impact sport has on our personal growth. From these people and experiences I’ve been moved to diligently research in developing specialized programs for individuals, from how we motivate someone to how we physically train them. The process of growth and the journey of sport will have many ups and downs, twists and turns (ran-fast-turn-left), we can Trust that God is a good steward of all of them, and we can embrace His presence, and all we share this gift with, in each step we take.

Praying for success is not as great as praying for wonder and awe. So much greater than a successful life is living a life that is wonderfully awesome!
