On this Best of The Satin Lounge with Kia René we thought we'd bring some ghost stories for Halloween featuring Author Tony Faten who shares his original heart-stopping ghost story "Beat - Beat". As well as an interview with Author James T. Bartlett who shares his book "Gourmet Ghosts" a guide through the haunted bars/restaurants of Los Angeles.
Gourmet Ghosts is filled with true crime, ghosts, L.A. history, food and drinks in two fun guide books. "It’s like going on a f*cked up city tour guided by the ghost of Raymond Chandler or a thought-form entity from the mind of James Ellroy." James T. Bartlett is a freelance journalist originally from London, now living in Los Angeles. His articles have been published in over 90 magazines and newspapers including the LA Times and LA Weekly. He's also a contributor to BBC Radio and RTE Radio 1 in Ireland, and blogs for BBCAmerica.com.
