Description

We're back!! We hope ya'll missed us the way we missed y'all. On the first episode in 2021, Kyzie is joined by Malcolm, Bryson, and Keynon. A lot has gone down since the guys were all behind the mics together. The gang began the episode by diving into the police brutality that is entirely too prominent in the United States of America. Later, the guys pay homage to DMX and celebrate his life. Afterwards, congratulations are in order to Seth Asra and Carl White III on the launch of the first black owned social media platform called Movespot. Be sure to tap in with the pod @GetItOffYourChestPodcast. As the episode continues, the guys bounce around to topics such as Quavo and Saweetie, the image Blacks portray in music and film, new music, and much more. Malcolm has published his first book titled "The First Day of the Rest of My Life". It is available for purchase on Amazon. This week's episode features music from Charlotte's very own, 1800AJ. We still demand justice for Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, George Floyd, Daunte Wright, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, and every other black person that lost their life or been harmed at the hands of racists and cops. Black Lives Matter!! The movement is not over!! We hope you enjoy the episode. Thanks so much for tuning in! Love!
