On episode 7, the Krew consists of the first female voices to ever grace a mic on the pod!! I'm joined by Tay and our great friends, Aleya and Bailee. The Krew details their experiences during their first year in college. Aleya talks about her transition from a PWI to an HBCU. Bailee and Tay also touch on balancing athletics and academics at a university. We then move on to random topics involving wildlife such as silverback gorillas, grizzly bears, and Tay's wild experience with a Tasmanian devil. Later on, we get serious and delve into understanding the plight of black men and women in this country and how black people as a whole must understand the plights that are relative to the specific gender and work together to address and correct them for one another. Towards the end we also touch on acceptable age differentials while dating. This episode also features music from Big Kasflow and our very own member of the Krew in Tay! We still demand justice for Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Rayshard Brooks, and every other black person that lost their life at the hands of racists and cops.
