This week we kicked off with our thoughts on the tragic death of George Floyd (00:50). The Premier League announced their return date of June 17th, we discussed whether it was the right time, the impact it could have on the players and future competitions (3:00). Should Liverpool have invested more in cup competitions to challenge for the treble? (19:35). We then went to discuss whether Jose could replicate the heights of his glory days, this stemmed from an assessment made on him made by Cesc Fabregas in an interview with Rio Ferdinand on the 'The Locker Room' (30:00). Ade introduced a segment into this week's episode called CAP Chronicles where the lads revisited some of the shouts they made on the podcast over the years..... some they may want to walk back(33:50)- 'RVP v Drogba' , ' Firmino being a top 3 striker in PL' & 'Messi being a level above CR7' to name a few. This led us to discuss Hazard v Bale (1:08:20) where the unanimous choice was Gareth Bale, we discussed the emphasis on needing to be productive as a top wide forward.
