In what is a first for The Sports Editor, Eugene Campbell III, who has recently excelled in Portugal, spoke about his life and what led him to pursue a career in professional basketball.
Eugene did not always have it easy and had to go through a number of difficult situations and prove a number of critics wrong to establish a career which has seen him achieve beyond the norm.
Eugene has also educated himself and looks to add value wherever he can and grow the game of basketball in the community.
