Jonathan Kaplan, a world renowned rugby referee, spoke to The Sports Editor about his illustrious career. Jon started his career whilst still attending school and was soon appointed onto the SA Referee panel. Jon has won numerous awards and sees things for what they are.
We spoke on his career which also opened up some concerns of his including his desire to help rugby in South Africa which did not come to fruition.
Jon has also written a number of books and gives good thoughts and opinions on rugby as he is now part of the Major League Rugby set up in North America.
