The Diocesan College (Colloquially known as Bishops) as it is more commonly known, was established on 2 October 1849 by the Bishop of Cape Town.
Some of the notable alumni from Bishops include the likes of Mark Shuttleworth, Tim Noakes, Herschelle Gibbs and more recently Francois Louw and Dillyn Leyds.
In this talk, Wes Chetty who is the 1st XV Head Coach of Bishops Rugby, gave us a good take on how Bishops has been so successful in the popular sport amongst South Africans. Bishops is well-known for the running rugby brand and we look closely as to how the squads have been successful in producing results above their weight.
