In which X7 reviews the first live-action Timely/Marvel comic book adaptation, Captain America (1944). Marvel would not have another live-action superhero show up until Spider-Man starred in his Spidey Super Stories on The Electric Company in 1974. Now it seems like we cannot go a week without some superhero series showing up in any form of media. Be that as it may, this is an action-packed serial, and worthy of being preserved. Cap really needs his shield, though.
