今回のゲストは、昨年上演した「完全版マハーバーラタ」の撮影・編集、映画「銀河」の撮影・編集、「Milky Way Train～138億光年の憂鬱～」の撮影をしてくださった白尾一博さんをお迎えしました。
昨年初めてお会いしたにも関わらず、すでに3作品も携わってくださいました。
今回は映像版「完全版マハーバーラタ」のお話を中心にしました。

■白尾一博
1970年生まれ。1994年実験映画「産業とダッチワイフ」を自主制作。イメージフォーラムフェスティバル1994で大賞を受賞。バンクーバー国際映画祭など十数カ国で招待・上映される。
その後、主に撮影監督として「蒸発旅日記」「ブラックキス」「ひぐらしのなく頃に」等に参加。
コーネリアス、ボニーピンク、斉藤和義など音楽PVの撮影も多数手がけている。
2004年以降は日本映画を代表する美術監督の故・木村威夫氏に師事。
「馬頭琴夜想曲」「夢のまにまに」等に撮影・編集として関わる。
プロデューサーとして「ヨコハマメリー」「美代子阿佐ヶ谷気分」

■空間演出家、小池 博史（こいけ ひろし）プロフィール
空間演出家・作家・振付家・映像作家、「舞台芸術の学校」代表 武蔵野美術大学空間演出デザイン学科教授、茨城県日立市生まれ。
1982年パフォーミングアーツグループ「パパ・タラフマラ」設立。以降、全55作品の作・演出・振付を手掛ける。2012年5月解散。すぐに「小池博史ブリッジプロジェクト（HKBP）※」を立ち上げ、空間芸術と名乗りつつ、創造性を核に教育・発信・創作を三本柱とした連携プロジェクトを展開。アジア各地で22作品を創作。現在までに演劇・舞踊・美術・音楽等のジャンルを超えた空間芸術作品を16カ国で創作、41カ国で公演。2020年初の映画監督作品「壊れた時間のバラタ」を制作。
1997〜2004年つくば舞台芸術監督、アジア舞台芸術家フォーラム委員長、国際交流基金特定寄附金審議委員（2005年〜2011年）等さまざまな審議員、審査員等を歴任。

小池博史ブリッジプロジェクト（HKBP）
創造力を核に据え、創作、教育、発信を三本柱に各々の連携を生み出そうとするプロジェクト。
舞台作品制作だけでなく映像・写真・インスタレーション・文章などあらゆるメディアを活用した多角的な発信を行なう。またイベント・講演会・ワークショップ・教育プログラムの実施など、“からだを使って考える”事の出来る人材の育成も含め、包括的な視野で世界と時代と文化の架け橋を創り出す為のアートプロジェクトとして日本国内世界各国を舞台に活動する。22作品を7ヶ国にて創作。13カ国で公演。シアターオリンピック・ベストパフォーマンス賞等を受賞。
HIROSHI KOIKE
Director, Playwright, Choreographer, Film director
In 1982 Hiroshi Koike founded Pappa TARAHUMARA. He wrote, directed and choreographed 55 productions with Pappa TARAHUMARA. Following the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, Pappa TARAHUMARA dissolved. In 2012 he launched the Hiroshi Koike Bridge Project (HKBP). Its’ mission is to produce collaborative projects around education, dissemination and creativity, creating bridges between different entities. Under HKBP, Koike has written, directed and choreographed 22 productions around Asia. The Mahabharata Series was his latest international collaboration that brought together artists from 9 countries around Asia to produce a 6 hour long production that premiered in Tokyo in August 2021.
Koike has produced work in 16 countries and his productions have been performed in over 41 countries. He has been invited to collaborate with artists around the world. His workshops that focus on reclaiming the physical body have been presented to professional artists as actor training and to the general public for developing creativity in both Japan and overseas. He served as the Artistic Director at Tsukuba Cultural Foundation, Chairman of Asian Performing Arts Forum, Committee Member of Japan Foundation (2005 - 2011). He is a professor at Musashino Art University, where he is the first theater director to be appointed in the Department of Scenography, Display and Fashion Design. He is the principal and founder of Performing Arts Institute (P.A.I.), an educational institution for developing artists. He is the author of two books, a collection of essays on the intersection of art and society entitled Listen to the Voice of the Body and his theory of direction entitled Performing Arts Theory - Fushi Kaden for the 21st Century. His first anthology of plays entitled Journey to Night and the End of the World was published in 2018.
