Walk a mile in northwest Arkansas with legacy educator Holly Howard. During this walk, Holly shares how and why teachers are the heart of the community. She also talks about the important (and urgent) need to develop strategies and a national teacher campaign to recruit and retain the best and the brightest educators.
Guest Bio:
Holly Howard is a 16-year veteran, high-school English teacher. This native Arkansan has taught in 3 different district and is National Board certified and renewed. She has participated in several fellowships, some of which include: George Washington Teacher Institute, National Gallery of Art Teacher Institute, ARTeacher (Crystal Bridges, U of A, and Center for Children and Youth), and Teach Plus Arkansas Teacher Policy Fellowship. She is also a former department chair and after-school coordinator.
