Guest Bio: Wendell Scales Jr. is an educator, son, brother, friend, and community leader in central Arkansas. Since 2010, he has focused on initiatives in education, mentorship, equity, access, and college matriculation. He is a five-year member and current Vice President of the 100 Black Men of Greater Little Rock. He is a community organizer who understands the transformative impact an equitable education can play among our scholars, families and community stakeholders. As a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXV, he continues to foster invaluable relationships to improve economic, organizational, and community outcomes in Arkansas.
