Guest Bio: Dr. Charlie E. McAdoo II has seventeen years of Career and Technical Education teaching experience.  He has taught middle school, high school, and on the post-secondary level. Currently, he teaches Business Education in the City Schools of Decatur located minutes outside Atlanta, GA. He has served in various leadership capacities throughout his education career. He is a 2019 Georgia CTAE LEAD (Leadership, Exploration, and Advocacy, and Development) Fellow. Charlie completed his Bachelor of Arts at Clark Atlanta University; his Masters in Education from the University of West Georgia; and has a Doctorate of Education from Valdosta State University in Adult and Career Education. He has experience presenting to school systems, regional education conferences, and state-level CTE organizations. His professional interests include identifying professional development priorities for the CTE program improvement and identifying best practices for CTE instruction.  In addition to his academic accomplishments, he has been married 18 years to his wife Dr. Billynda McAdoo.  They have two children (Charlie 14 and Billy 10).  They live in Atlanta Georgia and represent Little Rock, AR every chance they get.  He is a graduate of the Historic Little Rock Central High School and was active in the Little Rock independent hip hop scene for years, after co-founding Backyard Enterprises in 1992 with his brother, Leron "Ron Mc" McAdoo.
