Guest Bio: Kellie May is the 2019 Utah Teacher of the Year. Though a life-long learner and veteran educator of more than two decades, she knows that there is always more to learn and recognizes that her students have been her greatest teachers. She is so grateful for their influence on making her into a better teacher as well as a better human.

Kellie is currently in a district position that provides support for preservice and early career educators. She is dedicated to spreading her passion for public education and wants others to know that though aspects of teaching can be challenging, the rewards of being involved in the lives of young people make it worthwhile.
