Hi there, Entrepreneur. Welcome to this week’s episode of the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. Today is our Express Tip in 5 minutes or less, and today we are talking about growth. We talk about this often, and today I want to specifically call out a quote I got from my attorney on our team, “addition via subtraction.” Sometimes, the way to grow is to subtract. The way to add, is to takeaway. Sometimes we have to kindly coach people out of our organization into different chapters of their lives, or cut off the dead weight. The important part of this is making sure the right people are on our team and in front of us. It’s a really hard thing to do, and it can be even harder when our emotions are in the picture. Next time you are going through a team shift or analysis remember: addition via subtraction. If you need to repair, reevaluate, or change your team, sometimes you cannot grow, build, or add until you subtract and delete.
