Welcome to this week’s Entrepreneur Express Tip in 5 minutes or less! Today we are going to do some visualization and I want you to dream bigger than your fears by painting a picture of your dream company. The best way to do this is to map out your dream organizational chart – what does your dream team look like? Put everything on your dream organizational chart that you can think of – map out the boxes and lines and everything you want. I want you to look at is your existing employee count right now and multiply that number of employees by five and then multiple your existing count by 10. I want you to see if you multiplied your employee count by 5x or 10x what it would like. Now, we can bridge the two and I want you to see your dream organizational chart and what your organization employee base would look like if you multiplied it by five or 10. If you look at your dream organizational chart, how do you need to multiply your company to get to your dream operational goals? This is a really good exercise to do, especially in the fourth quarter of the year. This is a great way to set goals and write numbers down. It gives you a benchmark of where you are now and where you ultimately want to go.
