Description

In today’s podcast, you will learn about Alex Jacobs, owner of Coppermine, a sports and recreation facility that hosts a variety of community-driving activities like social, athletics, and creative experiences for all ages. Coppermine includes both indoor and outdoor programs that focus on involving everyone - from infancy, through active seniors. Alex is no stranger to customer service, fulfilling his mission to serve the surrounding community at “110%.” He started Coppermine in 2011, after realizing his passion for coaching and leading athletes to their full potential. Even after stepping foot into the business world, Alex hasn’t been sidetracked away from the heart and soul of what started it all – coaching. He has continued to actively coach, from basketball to lacrosse, soccer, and even football. Since opening Coppermine in 2011, Alex expanded after only one year by taking over another facility. Now, Coppermine services over 5000 adults and children per week – a true testament of the success, dedication, and leadership the Coppermine team brings to the table, unifying the Baltimore area through community and activities.
