Welcome to this week’s Express Tip on the Entrepreneur Evolution Podcast. For today’s Express Tip we are talking about saying yes inside your yes’s. Think about your A+++ clients - they are low maintenance, high profit clients. If you have worked with me and done some coaching, you know how we categorize different clients into high and low maintenance or profit. So think about your rockstar or dream clients. Step inside, and look at what you are saying “yes” to with these clients. Oftentimes you will do anything for these clients, they are amazing, and you want more of them. But, be aware of what we are saying yes to. Why? We have a tendency to say yes, bend boundaries and break rules, to accommodate them. What happens when you accommodate these A+++ clients outside of your typical protocol, process, and boundaries is that they start to become your non-favorites… C or D clients who are high maintenance and low profit. So if you are having an “aha” moment right now, guess what - we let that happen. We stepped out of our boundaries and bent the rules too many times. Take this time to think about who they are, re-align with them, and communicate in a fair manner so they respect and continue to respect your process, expertise, and offerings.
