Rated as a 5.0 national Pickleball player by the USAPA, Andy Gensch is passionate about promoting and evolving the sport of Pickleball. He is a certified International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) instructor and is the teaching pro at Chicken N Pickle. As a multi-sport athlete, he describes Pickleball as the only cross-generational sport where all ages can enjoy court time competing with one another. Andy is a two-time USAPA Nationals Medalist winning Bronze in 2014 in Mixed Doubles 50+ and a Silver in the 2015 Men’s Doubles 50+.
Andy’s enthusiasm and dedication to the sport have earned him other national and multiple regional medals. In the 2015 State Games of America National Tournament, he won Gold in Mixed Doubles 50+ and Silver in Mixed Doubles 19+. At the 2015 National Senior Games, Andy won Silver for Mixed Doubles 50+ and Silver in Men’s Doubles 50+. The 2015 Grand Canyon State Games brought Silver in Mixed Doubles 50+. In addition, Andy has won a Gold medal in the Oklahoma/Sooner State Games in 2015, 2016, Iowa State Games in 2014, 2015, Missouri/Show-Me State Games 2014, Missouri/State Senior Games 2014, Kansas/Sunflower Games 2014, and the Illinois/Senior Olympics 2014.
