Description

Friends of the Rosary,

A friend of the Rosary Network, Chris W. from Ohio, recently shared a method for prayer. It’s “Pope Francis’ five-finger prayer.”

This prayer assigns a specific group of people to each finger on your hand.

It provides a structured way to focus your prayers on different groups of people, reminding you of the interconnectedness of your community and personal needs. This is how it works.

• Thumb: Start by praying for those closest to you, as this finger is the nearest to your heart.

• Index Finger: Pray for those who teach, instruct, and heal you, such as teachers, mentors, and healthcare providers.

• Middle Finger: This finger represents leaders and those in authority, so take a moment to pray for governors and other leaders.

• Ring Finger: Use this finger to pray for the weakest or those who are sick and facing challenges in their lives.

• Pinkie: Finally, pray for yourself, acknowledging your own needs and desires.

Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!

Come, Holy Spirit, come!

To Jesus through Mary!
