Friends of the Rosary:
Today's Sunday reading is taken from the Gospel of St. Matthew 5:1-12a.
Those who experience all kinds of injustices, insults, adversities, and sufferings in the name of Jesus come first in the eyes of the Divinity. They inherit the Kingdom of God on earth and eternal rewards in Heaven.
In His sermon of the Beatitudes (Mt 5:1-12a), which we read this Sunday, Jesus Christ said to the crowd: “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven."
This is how the mysterious merciful love of God works.
