[Comment: Blind]
Friends of the Rosary:
In today’s reading (Mk 10:46-52), Jesus heals in Jericho a blind man called Bartimaeus. This blind man heard about Jesus of Nazareth and was seated on the roadside begging and crying out loudly. He kept calling Jesus. The Lord made sure about the insistent calling and, naturally, responded, "What do you want me to do for you?"
The blind man replied to him, "Master, I want to see." Jesus told him, "Go your way; your faith has saved you." Immediately he received his sight.
This biblical, timeless episode reflects how blind is mankind until we get notice of Jesus. Then we need to have the courage, against the society around us, to call the Savior. Jesus Christ will answer at the right time and rescue us from the disease of sin.
Our faith ends up saving us.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
