Summary of Judges 18:
In Judges 18, the tribe of Dan is still seeking a homeland. They send five spies who find the peaceful city of Laish. On the way, they discover a man named Micah who has a shrine, an idol, and a Levite priest. The Danites later return with 600 men, steal Micah’s idols, and convince the priest to come with them. They attack Laish, burn it, and rebuild it as "Dan." They set up the idol, and Jonathan, a descendant of Moses, becomes their priest.
