Hello and welcome to this week’s episode of Macabre for Mortals. I am going to be covering a much lighter topic this week after the last three heavy episodes about NPD. I am so pleased about the feedback that I have received for the series.
I am going to be covering some Greek myths today and the history behind them. In secondary school (or high school to my international listeners) I was fortunate enough to have classics and Latin as part of my curriculum. I loved anything to do with the ancient Greek and Roman civilizations and how their languages have influenced all of our modern languages around the world today. So for this weeks episode I am fully geeking out to my past passion.
My sources this week where:
https://greektraveltellers.com/blog/30-of-the-most-famous-tales-from-greek-mythology
I have only covered about half of the myths that I wanted to, but I also did want this episode to be lighter than the past three and the next three.
After the next three part series I will finish off the Greek myths.
Next week I will be starting the series on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I will be following the same formular as the NPD as I feel most people felt this flowed and gave the most information.
