The Rev Trevor Boyd conducts worship today and leads us in thinking about our work-life balance and time for God. Solomon moves on to his favorite subject of work. In particular, he leads us in a discussion to finding balance in our work in Ecclesiastes 4:4-6. Some of you may have read about work-life balance or may have been involved in discussions at work about how to achieve a work-life balance. When I worked with Pfizer this topic would come up from time to time. Pfizer too like Solomon and the pages of Scripture knew that if you could help employees achieve the right balance of work and life then you could achieve maximum output with happiness and contentment from the employee. How many achieved that I don’t know. But I do know that the balancing point was different for all of us.
