TWAIN BIO:
Twain is a hip-hop recording artist from Chicago, by way of Minneapolis. A seasoned music maker, songwriter and lyricist, his sound strikes a balance of timeless and contemporary hip-hop energy, autobiographic tales, and wordplay purists can appreciate. His last commercial release was THE GIFT OF DISCOVERY - EP in 2016. Some of his live performances to date include Penn State University, the Fine Line Music Café, the historic Capri Theater, the Minnesota Music Café, and the FOR THE LOVE hip-hop festival. A Twin Cities Hip Hop Award nominee & 96.3 B96 Homegrown Featured Artist, his work was recently selected to be included on MnSpin, the Hennepin County Library's streaming service for MN artists, as well as being selected by the Audiomack editorial team for real time trending on their site. Twain founded and curated the concert series A NIGHT OVER SOUTH in 2016, and TWIN CITIES MUSIC LOUNGE in 2018. His new album CENTRAL STANDARD TIME released February 28th.
