Some argue that ideas are not sacred, should be shared openly, and that one should put pride aside. But, at what cost?
In my head, the organization's culture is put at risk if this behavior is not addressed. We've all been there. You do a ton of work leading up to an event/presentation only to find out that your audience is fully aware of your idea because you shared it with a colleague. And, that colleague pawned it off as their idea.
