Description

The Utah Jazz failed to win against the Orlando Magic, a young team with some promising talent, but also a bottom-of-the-barrel eastern conference opponent. The Magic jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter, at one point outscoring the Jazz by 15, before the Jazz bounced back in the second to take a lead to the break.

Utah continued their dominance in the third, taking a 10 point lead to the fourth, but it was not enough as Orlando fought back to take the lead. Down by 2 with less than thirty seconds left, the Jazz played locked down defense only for R.J. Hampton to ice the game with an end of shot-clock three after collecting a loose ball.

Utah will head back home for a five-game homestand after changing venue for each of their first 10 games, starting with a game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.
