Why do I choose to workout without my shoes for some of my exercises? I haven't always done this, but I find doing this to have a positive impact to my health.

Going barefoot in some of your workouts, for the right exercises in the right environment can have positive impact on your health and the quality of your life.

Many shoes on the market today are not optimal for your feet. Especially to lift weights in a gym, which is what I like to do. By ditching the shoes, you allow your feet to move and flex naturally which can strengthen your arches, develop proper arch support, and alleviate pain in the feet.

Moreover, when you workout barefoot, your foot muscles contract more and this increased contraction leads to a greater connection between your body and the ground.
