JP Infante is an award winning writer and Borough of Manhattan Community College alum. His
forthcoming chapbook La Kapital (forthcoming 2021 DW Press), a collaboration with artist
Leonardo Ilianov, explores class and language in Santo Domingo, Dhaka and New York City
through personal essays and art. Buying Cocaine the e-book and audiobook are scheduled to
be released on December 12th, 2020.
His debut, On the Tip of Your Mother’s Tongue, is the winner of Thirty West’s 2020 Chapbook
Contest and his short story “Without a Big One” won PEN America’s Robert J Dau Prize.
