In this episode, Ryan, takes a look at Derry Girls season 2, a coming of age dramedy created and written by Lisa Mcgee. It follows five highschoolers amidst the political conflict of Northern Ireland in the 1990s, while also having to square off with the universal challenges of being a teenager, with very little change in season 2. Ryan talks about the anthology-eskness of the show but with the plots in them, his want for more adult character development, and some massive subtle character development.
