Shufflewire (www.shufflewire.com) has launched a platform specifically created for musicians and music industry professionals and businesses based in the UK. Shufflewire is the brainchild of music video director and digital producer, James Prismall, and Stuart Hardy, a musician and businessman. The pair shared a vision of what the music industry needed and combined their skills and experience to create this platform they tag line as the Complete Music Industry Resource.
Shufflewire is a free-to-access industry directory, built by its users with categories including retailers, manufacturers, products, venues, services, bands, and of course, musicians themselves. Alongside this sits classified advertising, where users can buy and sell used gear, find musicians to join their band, promote upcoming gigs (real or virtual) and discover music-industry jobs.
The team believe the platform will grow into a huge resource for anyone who works in the music industry. The website is completely free to access, free to join and free to post listings.
