Delighted to welcome David Lowe as my guest on Episode 018 of The Feeling Versonic Podcast. David is an internationally recognised and established composer, arranger and producer working primarily in television, radio, branding, idents and commercials. . He has created music for a wide range of programmes including news, current affairs, factual, wildlife and entertainment shows. He has also composed for National Radio and for special events, such as the London 2012 Olympic Games.
David's music accompanies some of the most popular shows on UK Television today; BBC News, as well as X Factor Celebrity, The One Show, Countryfile, and Grand Designs.
Internationally, he has created brand identity music for Bloomberg TV USA, Euronews France, Al Arabya Dubai, NDTV India and 4 of CCTV China Television’s State TV channels.
Outside Television David has had three albums released. "Dreamcatcher", "What Is In Between?" and "I Find You Very Attractive" (under the project name "Touch and Go").
The latter included the single "Would You...?". It reached number 3 in the UK Charts, and was a hit internationally. The follow up 'Straight...to Number One', launched iTunes in the USA.
David is a member of BAFTA and The British Academy of Composers, and has two honorary doctorates from Stafford and Birmingham City Universities.
