Description

SWANA Collective members focus on two historical events in the Arab world: the first legislative elections in Qatar and the appointment of the first woman to be a prime minister in Tunisia. Then we will shift to another major development in the Western Sahara, where the European Union Court ruled to annul two European Union treaties with Morocco because they did not have the consent of the Western Sahara people. Both treaties included Western Sahara as part of Moroccan sovereignty.

This show is co-hosted and co-produced by SWANA collective members. If you miss our live show on kpfk.org, you can listen to this extended podcast and our previous podcasts on Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts, Breaker, and Radio Public.
