I love nothing more than a robust, thoughtful conversation with my colleague Lisa Schmidt about work, leadership and organizational culture. In this episode we explore women's experience of the workplace, through the lens of research on confidence and the role that it plays in our promotability. We go on from there to talk about driving-RVs-while-female, stereotypes about women with kids (me) and those without (Lisa), and the fallacy that an organization's values tell us anything about what it's like to work there.
