On August 25, 2020 Kyle Rittenhouse, then seventeen years old, traveled from his residence in Illinois with an assault riffle to join to protests and riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin following the shooting of unarmed black man, Jacob Blake. Rittenhouse shot three men, killing two and injuring a third. For the last several weeks the world has watched Rittenhouse's highly publicized trial. On Friday, November 19, 2021 a jury found Rittenhouse not guilty. The Slate of Affairs team sits down to discuss.
