‘Nepalese Teenagers Confession’, ‘Confession of Nepali Teenagers’ and ‘Confession of Nepalese Youths’ are all Facebook pages/groups that are extremely popular within the Nepali youths (especially those that live IN Nepal), but why?
Well, in a society where ‘sex talk/ed’ don’t exist and opening up about ‘mental health struggles’ to your parents is not quite the norm, these teenagers and young adults need a safe place, where they are able to openly (yet anonymously) share their struggles, thoughts and ‘confess’ some of their deepest and intimate details of their lives - (& this is exactly what these groups provide).
On this ep, we look at 4-5 of these anonymous ‘confessions’ to understand struggles today’s youths in Nepal are facing and offer our thoughts and advices on these issues.
