“Text me when you get home” - is a common phrase used amongst women to ensure that their loved ones have reached home safely. It’s also now become a replacement for ‘bye’ or ‘goodbye’, due to the frequent use at the end of the get-together or gatherings. In the wake of a tragic murder of Sarah Everard, women have now been sharing their own personal stories and the measures they have had to take in order to reach home safely.
We also decided to touch up on this conversation and express our personal views and experiences. As mentioned in the beginning of this episode, we felt that this was an important and necessary topic, something us all girls can relate to but also hopefully an eye opener for our male listeners; to explain and share the struggles women have to endure in this modern day and age.
This episode contains sensitive topic that some listeners may find disturbing. Therefore, listeners discretion is advised!
** ALSO, apologise in advanced for Arati's mic. We are working to fix this issue ASAP, as we want you guys to have a pleasant time hearing our wonderful voices heehee **
