Guest speaker: World Class Professional Boxer and Mixed Martial Arts fighter Frankie Sanchez.

On this week’s episode, Frankie talks about what inspired him to be a boxer, his favorite moments, his experience on the UFC ultimate fighter, and his experience training recent Gold medal winner Henry Cejudo.

As a youth he was a 4x Junior Olympic boxing state & regional champion and 6x Colorado Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. He retired with a record of 16-15 as a professional boxer and 34-0 in tough man and MMA fighting. As a coach, Frankie has trained numerous champions who have competed in MMA, Golden Gloves, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Olympic trials and Pro boxing.

In 2016 Frankie was selected as a guest coach for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 TV show on Fox Sports 1 Team CEJUDO vs Team Benivedas. In 2017 he was an official licenced UFC coach/corner man for the UFC on FOX Spots live TV show at The Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Frankie helped coach UFC fighter Alexandre Pantojo to a win over UFC fighter Eric Shelton.

In the community, Frankie volunteers thousands of hours and dollars each year to community groups, Churches, clubs and schools worldwide. He now works as a volunteer with the Aurora Police Boxing Club and Cops Fighting Cancer Organizations. He is also the fundraising chair for CESDA Colorado Educational Services and Development Association program that teaches local high school, Jr. high and elementary students the importance of attending higher education.
